What we can do for you
Register
and Host:
We'll register your domain name, if available. Registration
(with Internic) is done 1 year at a time unless you specify
otherwise.Your site will be hosted on a reliable server
that has a record of 99.9% uptime in a year (less than 8 hours a year
down-time.) The domain name will belong to you. If you discontinue
service with Quadradical, your domain name will need to be moved
to a different host site. There is a fee of about $20 to re-register
your site. In this case, we will promptly supply you with all the
information required to move your site.
Design:
We will design your site to your satisfaction. Start-up fees are
waived until you are pleased with the product. You will be able to
preview the site and provide feedback as your site is developed.
Digital photography is available if you are in a 50 mile radius of
Madrid, IA. We can scan and edit your logo and photos. We can develop
special effects, create graphics and animations using
Javascript and
advanced techniques. We always bear in mind that the important thing
is your content/message.
Email:
We can provide you with up to 10 full POP3 email services. Full
means you can send and recieve email. We can set up addresses
that re-direct to one or more of your other addresses.
Interactive:
We can connect you to your customers using interactive tools including
PHP
(a server side programming language), JavaScript, and
MySQL
Database.
MySQL allows you to maintain a moderate sized database on the web. PHP
allows for controlled and safe access to the database.
Update and Train:
We update your site on demand (usually within a few hours). Typically, we can
make minor additions, deletions and modifications to your site free of
charge. If you rotate or change your content frequently,
we can design a program that allows you to log in to your web site and
make changes to your site from a web page using advanced data base technologies.
You will be free to update your site as often as you like at no charge.
(details are specified in an individualized service agreement). Fees
for updates are about $40 per hour of programmer time. We are more
than happy to train you to maintain and update your own site. Fees
for training are about $40 an hour.
Search Engines:
We will register your site with a number of free search engines. We
will add keywords to your site that help the search engine classify it.
Some Search Engines charge a fee to add your site to their data-base.
In many cases it simply doesn't make sense to pay to register with some
of these services. It isn't unusual for many search data-bases to delay
listing your site by as much as 6 to 8 weeks. This is true even with
some of the engines that charge you to list your site. The important
thing is that Quadradical web sites DO REACH THEIR TARGET AUDIENCES,
and we manage to do it WITHOUT COSTING YOU A FORTUNE.
